Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge for cakes?

- Sculpted cakes take a great amount of time and energy.  Pricing is based on the design, size, complexity, and materials used.  There is a $200 minimum charge for all sculpted cakes.

Do you ship cakes?

-Yes!  Although, certain cakes may be extremely difficult to ship due to the fragility of the design.  In this case, some designs may be altered in order to accomodate shipping.  Overnight shipping must be used in order to get your cake to you as fresh as possible, and is paid by the customer.

Does Sweet Art Cakery deliver?

-Yes!  Delivery charge is based on distance to the location, and any toll fees.  $0.50 per mile for the first 30 miles, and $1 for each additional mile, up to a 90 mile radius from Milwaukee, WI.  Sweet Art Cakery is not responsible for any damage to the cake once it leaves our hands.

Can you accommodate allergies?

-Yes, we make cakes keeping in mind any allergies customers may have.  We are able to make cakes without certain allergens, however, there is no separate kitchen or equipment for completely allergy-free baking.  Let us know about any allergies when placing the order and we are happy to make your cake using extra caution to avoid contact with harmful ingredients.  Please be aware that some equipment may come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens, so if the allergy is super-sensitive please use your own discretion before placing an order.

Can I have a preview of my cake?

-Unfortunately Sweet Art Cakery does not offer previews.

How far in advance should I place my order?

-Please place your order as far in advance as possible to ensure adequate time to create your cake, but if you have a short notice order, ask us, and we’ll try to get it done for you! If possible, we ask that you give us at least 2 weeks notice. Requested dates are based off availability and some months book up faster than others so please plan ahead!

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

-Requests for cancellations must be made in writing.  The final payment date is the last date for any changes to the order.  Cancellations made after the balance due date will not qualify for a refund.  In the event that we fail to have your cake ready on the date requested, a full refund will be issued to you.

What forms of payment do you accept?

    -Cash, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle
